Three teenage siblings have been charged with trying to kill their mother with kitchen knives and a brick after she turned off the Wi-Fi in their home.
The teens, ages 14, 15 and 16, are accused of coordinating an assault on their mother early on Monday morning, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a Facebook post.
Sheriff Gonzalez did not specify their gender, but the trio are sisters, according to ABC News.
The three teens chased their mother, 39, outside while trying to stab her, and successfully hit her with a brick, the sheriff said. The 70-year-old grandmother of the accused assailants was also knocked over while trying to protect the victim. Neither adult was seriously injured.
None of the individuals has been publicly identified. The teen sisters have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and were booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
