Is the White House Having Too Much Fun With Social Media?

The Trump White House is using social media unlike any prior administration, capturing the president’s policy agenda through unconventional videos and images.

Take the issue of curbing illegal immigration, arguably President Donald’s Trump No. 1 policy priority. The Trump administration has released multiple videos of the deportation of illegal aliens set to popular songs, such as “Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye” and “Closing Time.”

“I think it sums up our immigration policy pretty well: ‘You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here,’” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said, when asked about the use of the song “Closing Time” in a video showcasing the administration’s deportations of illegal aliens

The White recently joined the Japanese animation craze and created its own AI generated image of Trump and Vice President JD Vance, with the caption, “We do not ask permission from far-left Democrats before we deport illegal immigrants.”

The White House social media strategy appears aimed at unapologetic authenticity, even on personal issues.

On Monday, the White House shared an image of the vice president with his mom in the briefing room as the two celebrated 10 years of sobriety for Bev Vance.

On this week’s edition of “Problematic Women,” Morgonn McMichael, a Turning Point USA contributor and Gen Z social media influencer, joins the show to discuss the Trump administration’s unique use of social media.

Also on today’s show, we discuss the recent “Hands Off” protest in Washington, D.C., and the attack on a pro-life activist. Plus, McMichael offers some dating advice to young women following her recent engagement.
